Josh is a litigation attorney, former prosecutor, and United States Marine veteran infantryman. Originally from the Chicago area, he graduated from Edison Local High School in 2009, deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2011, obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron in 2016, and remained in Akron for law school, graduating in 2019. While in law school, Josh worked as a law clerk for a small law firm in Akron, gaining critical experience in civil and criminal cases before being licensed. He also completed the civil practice clinic as part of his studies, gaining live courtroom experience in landlord/tenant law.
After completing law school, Josh began his career as an assistant Montgomery County, Ohio, prosecuting attorney. There, he wrote briefs in over sixty appeals, arguing roughly a quarter of those cases before the Second District Court of Appeals. Outside the office, Josh enjoys spending time with the two cats that came with his former home in Dayton, weightlifting, and riding his motorcycle.
