Laney was born in New London, Connecticut, but grew up throughout the US. She planted roots in California, Rhode Island, Florida, and Virginia, before eventually settling down in West Virginia to be with family.
Laney attended the Legal Studies Academy at First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach where she participated in a plethora of extracurriculars including softball, Model United Nations, and Model Judiciary. She then continued her academic and athletic career at Mary Baldwin University where she obtained a B.A. in Political Science in 2023. She has since reconnected with her passion for the law and plans to attend law school this fall.
Laney is a legal assistant at Littlejohn Law. While she assists attorneys and paralegals, her priority is creating an exceptional client experience. She recognizes that she is the first point of contact between the clients and the firm. Therefore, she strives to help clients with any questions or concerns in a thorough and timely manner.
In her free time, Laney enjoys hiking, attending concerts, and long walks with her dog, Rooney.
