Amie was born and raised in Wheeling, WV. She attended Wheeling Park High School and as a result of her academic achievements, she graduated a semester early. Thereafter, while also working full time, she attended West Liberty University and graduated in 2000 with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Pre-Law. Following graduation, Amie moved to Michigan to pursue her life-long goal of becoming an attorney. Life had other plans for Amie, however, necessitating her return to West Virginia prior to graduating. Although Amie encountered this road-block, she never lost her enthusiasm, nor her passion for the law, and has since been working diligently and with compassion to advocate for those who can not or are unable to advocate for themselves and/or their loved ones ever since.
Over the past 20 years, Amie has developed a strong foundation of legal skill and knowledge in both state and federal courts in West Virginia and Ohio. While her expertise lies within litigation, she wanted to challenge herself and expand her knowledge base by venturing into more transactional-based areas of law. Irrespective of the area of law, the most important bit of knowledge that Amie has acquired over the past 20+ years is simple - its all about the Client. You should treat each client as if they were your only client. In her free time, Amie enjoys reading, making crafts, and going to the gym with her husband. Amie and her husband have three fur babies – Bailey, Bella and Chancey.
