David Hamilton was born and raised in Akron. He graduated high school from Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy. He received his Bachelors of Art in Sociology as well as minors in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Akron. David proceeded to receive his Juris Doctorate at the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.
David was a Prosecutor for the City of Akron. Being a prosecutor taught him the importance of public safety and fairness. David is currently involved in many civic and non-profit organizations. He is a Board Member of Victim Assistance, Board Member of AxessPointe Community Health Centers, member of Kiwanis, and the Guiding Coalition Chair of Circles/Bridges out of Poverty.
David is currently running for Summit County Council in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. He wants to make a difference in his community and believes that public service is a personal obligation of his. It is his desire to use his skill set and legal background to give back to his community.
David practices in the area of Real Estate law and Estate Planning. David is passionate about helping people.
